Vichara is a yogic-based process of self-inquiry. While Yoga quiets your mind by using your body as an access point, Vichara quiets your mind by using your mind. It may feel like a talk therapy session in that it is a conversation between you and the Therapist, but it intended as a way of helping you look at your belief systems and how those beliefs have shaped your experiences and continue to shape them. During the session, the Therapist will ask you questions which guide you in this process. It is not in any way an advice session, but rather a way of helping you to see how some of your underlying beliefs and fears have driven your decisions in life. A typical Vichara session is 1 hour.
